The Elmhurst Choral Union became a non-profit organization in 2001. As with most non-profits, individual donors provide much of our funding. Please consider participating in our continued growth and support our exceptional live performances to the community. Donations go directly toward performance expenses, such as: fees for professional orchestra members and vocal soloists, our accompanist, and Director's fees.
Thank You for Supporting the Arts!
Elmhurst College founded Elmhurst Choral Union in 1952. The college has continued its support by providing rehearsal and performance space. A significant portion of ECU's funding comes from the college music department, and we thank Elmhurst College for its long standing support.
Elmhurst Choral Union programs are partially funded by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency. Additional funding is provided by the City of Elmhurst Community Grant Program.
Elmhurst Choral Union also receives assistance in the form of time and energy from many wonderful individuals. We would like to thank college president Dr. Bryant Cureton and numerous staff members for their help and support.
Thanks also to our Board of Directors, who have put in countless hours to improve our finances, promote concerts and manage logistical details.
